What is a trophy animal? Ask almost any hunter and you'll hear a variety of answers to that question. Some will argue that size is what really matters, and to some extent, they are right. I've never heard of a hunter express his or her desire to get the littlest one or the most mediocre in the bunch. With that, it's fairly safe to say most hunters agree that they aspire to get the "big one."
That said, however, a real trophy animal is not defined by size alone. A real trophy animal is defined by the experience and/or the accomplishments of the hunt.
